Michael Scott Phillips is the author of When Morpheus Overslept and the Along Time’s Edge SF series, which includes Beyond the Empyrean, The Lightning-Struck Tree, and The Infinity Cage. In non-fiction, he published Quite Quite Fantastic! The Avengers for Modern Viewers, dedicated to the classic TV shows, The Avengers and The New Avengers. He is also an accomplished graphic designer and wildlife artist who enjoys learning languages and inventing his own.

He also enjoys exploring his immense collection of physical media containing over five decades of popular culture, e.g., Doctor Who, Star Trek, Star Wars, French, Italian, Russian, and British cinema and television.
